The First Week of Robotics

A few weeks ago the school year started with a lot of new recruits for robotics. The FTC game announcement came out with our team ready as ever. We are already preparing by learning the basic instructions and getting hands on experience with the machines.

Our teacher has shown us a couple of interesting videos about circuits, resistors, negative and positive polls, and how to use a multimeter. The class divided into two groups afterwards. One group was assigned to start building a CNC machine which is a router mounted on a 3D printer. It can cut wood, metal, plastic, or glass. The other half of the class was given all the pieces of a multimeter. Their job was to put it together and figure out how it works.

As of now the engineering team is continuing to build a CNC machine and they have started to put together some shelves. On the other hand, the marketing team has been active on social media, posting once everyday. The website is currently being updated and new articles will be posted soon. The new school year is off to a great start.
